The MM-DNA Medium Horizontal Electrophoresis System is designed for agarose gel electrophoresis of nucleic acid samples. It is suitable for the separation, purification, and preparation of charged particles in biochemical research applications. The system can be used for DNA identification, separation, and preparation, as well as for molecular weight determination.

The unit is equipped with a versatile gel-casting tray that supports gel sizes of 6.5 × 6.5 cm, 6.5 × 13 cm, 13 × 6.5 cm, and 13 × 13 cm. It also includes nine combs with different numbers of teeth and thicknesses. Agarose gels of various sizes can be placed directly on the platform of the horizontal electrophoresis chamber for electrophoretic separation.
