Recombinant Trypsin (MS Grade), Lyophilized
| Product No. | CNSYJ-O-068-100 |
| Size | 100 μg |
| Activity | >6200 USP U/mg |
Product Description
Trypsin is a serine endopeptidase secreted by the pancreas. Its recognition sites are lysine or arginine in proteins, and the cleavage sites are at the carboxyl-terminal of lysine or arginine residues.
This product is a recombinant porcine trypsin expressed by Pichia pastoris. It is produced in an environment compliant with GMP regulations, containing no animal-derived components and being free from animal-sourced viral contamination, such as swine influenza virus and porcine parvovirus.
Naturally, it lacks chymotrypsin activity. The activity of this product is inhibited by serine protease inhibitors such as PMSF and TLCK, as well as metal ion chelators such as EDTA.
Unit Definition:
One USP unit is defined as a 0.003 increase in absorbance at 253 nm per minute of enzymatic digestion of BAEE in 3.2 mL of reaction system (1 cm optical path) at 25°C, pH 7.6.
Reconstitution Solution: 1 mM HCl

Transportation and Storage
- Storage: Store at 2–8°C for at least 12 months.
- Transportation: Ice pack.
Product Application
Suitable for protein analysis, including:
- Protein mass spectrometry
- Protein sequencing
- Peptide mapping analysis
Usage
- Centrifuge the tube at 100–200 × g for 2 minutes before use.
- Carefully open the tube and add 50–100 μL of 1 mM HCl for reconstitution. Close the tube and gently invert or shake until thoroughly mixed.
- After reconstitution, the product can be stored at 4°C or −20°C for at least 12 months. If reconstituted with a slightly alkaline solution such as ammonium bicarbonate, it can be stored at 4°C for 1–2 weeks.
- For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at −20°C, where it can be stored for at least 12 months.
- For protein digestion, incubate the protein with trypsin at a protease-to-protein ratio of 1:100 to 1:50, then digest at 37°C overnight.
Precautions
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles after reconstitution.
- Wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during use.
- This product should not be used directly for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
