This kit is used to compare how 15 common AAV capsids perform in different cells and tissues. Each capsid has unique DNA barcodes, so researchers can track which one works best in specific target cells using NGS.

This version uses a self-complementary AAV (scAAV) genome with a CMV-mCherry reporter. The scAAV design allows faster gene expression in cells and animals. The CMV promoter drives strong expression in many cell types, and mCherry helps identify and isolate successfully infected cells. WPRE and bGH polyA improve and stabilize gene expression.

Each capsid is linked to three different N25 barcode sequences located between WPRE and polyA. Researchers can measure both DNA and RNA levels by sequencing the barcode region.
